Had early education in Vivek Vardhini Boy's High School, a student of Vivek Vardhini College for PUC and subsequently joined Badruka Commerce College and obtainB.Com degree in 1970-71, passed C.A. examination in the year 1982 obtained 26th Rank in All India Examination for C.A. Intermediate.
Obtained P.G. degree M.Com from Bhopal University with specialization in Industrial Finance and Management Accounting. Established his own firm “G.K.Datar & Co.” in 1983, A leading practitioner in tax consultancy.
Presented papers in various seminars on Accounting & Traffic Control. He is associated with several social, cultural and religious organizations. Hon. General Secretary of Vivek Vardhini Education Society, Hon. Secretary of Maharashtra Mandal, Hyderabad, Treasurer, Bruhn Maharashtra Mandal, New Delhi, President of Traffic Improvement Committee, Kachiguda, President, Kachiguda Traders Association, Trustee & Secretary of Shri Nana Mahaj Trust, Gangapur, Karnataka.
